Press release: Coastwise Offshore Services and Next Generation Shipyards sign a contract for the building of a new type of vessel on Groningen soil.

On Thursday, 27 August, a contract for the building of a new, energy-efficient and fuel-saving aluminium vessel for the offshore wind-industry was signed, together with an option for three other vessels.

2020 New Year’s Report

In 2019, with its fleet of six offshore service vessels and its specialised survey/ROV vessel, the SeaZip Fix, SeaZip Offshore Service was actively involved in carrying out and accomplishing various international projects. Though the primary focus was on offshore wind, SeaZip also provided operational support to the offshore oil and gas industry.

TOWSC signed a MoU with CTV expert, SeaZip for the collaboration towards the potential businesses for offshore wind services in Taiwan. Both parties target the provision of logistic solutions from construction and commissioning, to operation and maintenance (O&M) stages for offshore wind farm projects in Taiwan.

CTV SeaZip 3 part of the first autonomous manoeuvring vessels trials held on North Sea

A unique series of autonomous operations trials were held on the North Sea on 19 and 20 March, about five nautical miles off the coast of Den Helder (NL). SeaZip 3, a Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 ‘Twin Axe’ (Bureau Veritas class, Netherlands flag).
